One week into the Yoga challenge & this is how I feel

Namaste

Today marked my 6th day of the 21-day Yoga challenge by Habuild. Technically, though, it’s my 11th consecutive day of practising yoga, as I had early access and started on January 1st.

Honestly, it was a long day. I missed the morning session and was too tired and reluctant to join the evening one. But skipping it would have defeated the purpose of enrolling in this challenge in the first place — to build consistency.

Yes, my main goal in joining the challenge is to discipline myself (there, I said it!) and work on consistency. Any additional benefits? Well, they’re just a bonus.

So, before joining, I told myself: Just show up. It’s okay if I can’t do everything. I’ll at least do some stretches, breathing, and relaxation.

But the trainer had other plans.

Today’s session focused on pushing ourselves to build stamina — through asanas and breathing techniques.

Perfect timing, right? To my surprise, I ended up doing everything — brisk walks, jogging, jumping jacks, shoulder taps, and more.

Sure, I scaled it down to 10–15 reps instead of the prescribed 20, but I hadn’t even thought I’d go that far!

What changed? The energy of practising alongside others was infectious.

Simply showing up for myself, surrounded by the right environment and intention, gave me the push to take that next step.

And that, my friends, is what I call a win for the week. The icing on the cake? By the end of the session, I felt more energized than fatigued, despite how physically drained I’d been before.

I hope you, too, experience this joy and elevate your life to a whole new level!

On that note, I’d love to invite you to the 14-Day Yoga Challenge by Habuild, starting on January 13th, 2025.

A few of my friends have already joined, and they’re already feeling the difference. Trust me, accountability is a game-changer — it pulls you out of your comfort zone.

Having you and others on this journey keeps me motivated, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

To make it easier, I’ve compiled answers to some common questions my friends had before joining, which eventually convinced them:

  1. It’s completely FREE — no hidden agendas.
  2. No age or gender restrictions — anyone can join!
  3. Beginner-friendly — two instructors demonstrate the asanas: one for beginners and one for novices.
  4. Flexible batch timings — 3 sessions in the morning and 3 in the evening. Pick what suits you best each day or even attend multiple sessions!
  5. Language options — sessions are conducted in Hindi and English, with clear and simple instructions.
  6. Convenience at its best — classes are streamed on YouTube, so you can join in your pyjamas without being on camera.
  7. Structured sessions — each week includes a balanced mix of cardio, strength training, breathwork, and meditation for a wholesome experience.
  8. Your pace, your rules — you’re encouraged to relax mid-session if needed. The mantra is to take it at your own pace and the only request is just to show up.
  9. Bonus perks — regular participants receive resources for diet and lifestyle changes.
